How did you end up at Mosaic?

Ever since I was eleven years old, I wanted to be in advertising – Thanks to Bewitched. I was headed that route when I made it my major at Michigan State University, and eventually ended up with a degree in Telecommunications (TV & Radio). After a very unproductive career in radio, I answered an ad and became (yep, you guessed it) an exterminator for the next 28 years – Okay, maybe you didn't guess that one. Anyway, in retrospect I can see God’s hand in it all. The life experiences, which included my schooling and management career, enabled me to be a more effective communicator.

Working at Cornerstone Church for over 15 years in all things creative (drama, worship planning, music, etc.) eventually led to a full-time staff position in 2007 as Director of Worship and Creative Arts. I was very involved in every aspect of worship planning, from coordinating teams of volunteers to the development and execution of state-of-the-art multimedia-enhanced worship experiences. By the grace of God, I’m now at Mosaic where I feel prepared to lead, teach and encourage others into a relationship with Jesus Christ. Those advertising skills are finally being put to great use as my job now is to present the truth, which is far more compelling and life-transforming than any product ever created!
