Joshua Liggins

Josh still needs to write his bio for the website so this is what Noah says about him: He is a super rad dude. He will kick your butt in basketball, even for an old guy. His favorite movie is Space Jam. He and his wife Christy have an incredible family with three beautiful children. He graduated from Cornerstone University, where Noah was his R.A. and the best R.A. Josh ever had. Josh has been a youth pastor, a high school teacher, a pro basketball player overseas, and now works for Inspire Brands, making the world a sweeter place by starting Dunkin' franchises all over the country. Josh will be your favorite person you meet if you visit Mosaic. Someday, he will email Noah his bio and we will replace this one...

LaRonda Hanson
Worship Leader
LaRonda began singing in the church choir at Queen Esther Baptist Church in Muskegon at the age of 7. She soon realized that God had anointed her to sing praises unto the Lord, and worship became an integral part of her existence. LaRonda was one of the founding members of Muskegon’s “Young Ambassadors For Christ,”. She has also been a member of many praise teams and choirs including: The Great Lakes Michigan Chapter of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, the Holy Trinity COGIC praise team, a select group that traveled with the Jurisdictional Bishop, singing around the country for many years. She is a member of the community choir “Brandon Davis & Victory in Praise” that recorded their first album in 2016, and most recently, the Kingdom Embassy Praise Team (KEPT). When LaRonda isn’t singing, she enjoys crafting, cooking/baking, fishing, gardening, spending time at the beach, shopping, and traveling with her two children.

Lucero Solis
Leadership Team
Lucero graduated from Cornerstone University in 2019 and teaches Math and Science at Potter’s House High School. Growing up as a pastor’s kid in Mexico, she witnessed firsthand the impact that intentional relationships in the church can have in the greater community of a city. Since moving to the United States at the age of 14, Lucero has come to see a need for multi-ethnic church communities that focus on racial reconciliation and seek transformation. Over the last five years, she has had the opportunity to serve as a youth group leader and small group leader. She has also loved building relationships with students and adults that have different experiences and to see the ways that God is molding each of us to build His kingdom here on earth.

Travis Washington
Youth Pastor
Travis' passion for youth started at an early age, when he saw his mom first and then his sister working with youth in many different capacities. In high school his passion grew more just seeing that in school there weren't people that looked like him. As a teen, he worked for WIA, Campfire, and LOOP and in 2006 when he graduated from high school he worked for William C Abney Academy until 2020. Shortly after Travis married Whitney, they began co-leading in youth ministry at Revolution Christian Ministries, where they served the students in many capacities for over 6 years. He is the father of a very outgoing daughter and is the owner of Life Addicts Studio which is a local gym in Grand Rapids, MI.

Victoria Gibbs
Director of Christian Antiracism, Leadership Team
Victoria began asking God about her journey involving issues of “race” many years ago when she became the first African American to graduate from an all-white junior high school in 1965, and then went on to be the second African American to graduate from an all-white Christian high school in 1970.
Victoria worked for the Christian Reformed Church, first as a bridge to the African American community as Community Outreach Worker and then for the denominational headquarters as their AA Small group ministry developer.
Victoria is currently the lead coach for CORE, Communities Organizing for Racial Equity and is one of its founding members.
She has 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild.

Whitney Washington
Youth Pastor
Whitney's passion for working with youth began when she herself was a young person, helping out at her mother's daycare 20+ years ago. While attending Grand Valley State University she founded a student organization called Child at Heart, where she and other students collected supplies for local families, volunteered at local youth support organizations, created cards for hospitalized children and brought local high schoolers to campus to experience "a day in the life of a laker."
She began co-leading in youth ministry with her husband Travis at Revolution Christian Ministries. For 6 years they served and walked alongside both middle and high school students offering support & guidance as they further developed relationships with themselves, Christ and each other. Whitney works alongside her husband in ministry, in their local business and in raising their dynamic daughter.
